‘We’re f*cked’ moments pilots successfully hid from passengers (16 Photos)

Flying an airliner into an airport in the southeast, level 5 storms about 10 miles from the field moving in quickly. The approach was normal until about 4 miles out. After selecting full flaps we had a stab trim runaway, the airplane pitched nose full up.
We both fought the flight controls by pushing full nose down to go around. We ran the checklists, QRH (big book that guides you through problems).
