Happy National Underground America Day!
“What the hell is National Underground America Day?” You might be asking.
Well, it turns out May 14 is a day that officially recognizes the “approximately 6,000 people who live in some form of underground architecture across North America.”
Yes. There really are people out there living their very best hobbit lives.
And some of these places are stylish as hell, too! I pulled together a few examples (not just from America, but from all around the world) of people really making the most out of underground living.
