I feel like when it comes to sage spirit guides, Gandalf would have to be my pick.
The guy was not just full of wisdom, but was willing to dole it out in a no-nonsense kind of way. He tells it like it is, you know? Especially when dealing with a fool of a Took, no less.
But alas — one does not get to choose one’s own spirit guide, so I’m instead stuck with some wise words from the good folks of Reddit, when they were asked to share the “best saying they’ve ever heard.”
