We’d love to tell you her reign is nearing its end, but ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You‘ reportedly rakes in $2.5–$3 million a year for Mariah and has netted her over $60 million in royalties since its release — which is roughly the amount it would cost to provide therapy to every retail worker on any given year. Probably.
It has also topped the Billboard Hot 100 annually since 2019 and reached No. 1 in 26 countries, proving that every day we all stray further from the light.
