Ah, Google.

What would our digital lives be like without it?

The search engine is the primary gateway to the internet for billions of people, and Google’s influence extends across the real-world as well.

Essentially, it does pretty much everything right and is the epitome of offering the end user maximum value.

But sometimes, Google Search Suggestions (aka “Google Autocomplete”) goes a little wonky.

Mostly because Google Search Suggestions work by using machine learning to predict what users are typing, based on real user searches, location, trending topics, and users’ personal search history.

It’s a real-time, data-driven process that analyzes patterns from billions of searches, attempting to offer relevant completions for an intended search term.
