We are currently in that confusing, cheese-fueled limbo between Christmas and New Year’s where time has no meaning, calories don’t count, and for some reason, Philip Rivers is playing quarterback for the Colts again.
It was a week where the Eagles proved you don’t actually need to complete a pass in the second half to win, the 49ers and Bears decided defense was optional in a 42-38 shootout, and the Jets celebrated the holidays by gifting the Patriots a 42-10 practice scrimmage. Meanwhile, the Browns woke up just long enough to ruin the Steelers’ week, because if Cleveland can’t have nice things, no one can. But hey, they didn’t allow Myles Garrett to break the sack record.
