Technology can be overwhelming for older people who didn’t grow up with computers, smart phones, and social media.
It’s usually an exercise in patience for younger generations to help Mom “find her e-mail” for the hundredth time or teach Uncle Bill how to send a text message, but rogue eye-rolls aside, we try to teach with compassion and understanding.
Still, every now and then, when we’re sure she isn’t looking, we have to laugh at Grandma’s unhinged, incomprehensible (and often inadvertent) Facebook posts.
