Outrageous Times Kids Lied with Zero Shame and 100% Creativity
When I was like 10 (primetime lying age), a buddy of mine on the school bus told me he met the White Power Ranger.
At a Power Rangers concert.
The White Ranger, Tommy (RIP bro), supposedly gave my friend a $20 bill as a gift.
So naturally, my buddy showed me the $20 bill, and I believed him forever.
It was only when I got older I realized that live Power Rangers concerts weren’t a thing, and Tommy definitely didn’t give Rob a $20 bill.
This X thread from funnyman Jon Bois got the lying party a few years ago, but the stories still stand.
Because if we’ve learned anything today, it’s that kids’ lies are timeless.
