The real “hot as balls” temperature has been discovered

We’ve all used the phrase “it’s hot as balls”. If you live in Texas like me, you probably use it on a weekly basis. Or perhaps you live in the North and prefer the phrase “cold as shit”.
Over the past year, web developer Jim Webb has been tracking tweets using the common weather phrases such as “hot as hell”, “cold as a bitch”, etc. to see what those temperatures actually are. Each time someone used the phrase he would record the exact temperature in that user’s region and add it to his data.
