As someone who’s managed to show up at theCHIVE office without a whole-ass laptop (you know, only the thing that allows me to put this post up in the first place), it’s amazing how getting stuck on autopilot in your everyday life creeps up on you when you least expect it.
(Side note: There’s something about working at Mcdonald’s that will absolutely fry your brain, at least going by these stories.)
