The Midsummer Classic takes place tomorrow at Coors Field in Denver as the American League All-Stars square off against the NL. 32 players have been elected to each team and, because the rules dictate it, every team has at least one representative suiting up. While this is great for some players, others get the short end of the stick and miss the All-Star game all together.

In honor of the players who will receive a much-needed couple days of rest, let’s look back at the best player in each position to never make an All-Star game.
