Tammy Kingery’s tumultuous hours before her disappearance remain a vexing mystery
It’s been nearly 10 years since Tammy Russell Kingery was last seen. From the outside looking in, the wife and mother of three was living a fairly normal life. She was working as a nurse in North Augusta, South Carolina where the family had settled and built a home.
Unfortunately not everyone sees what goes on behind closed doors. In the weeks leading up to her eventual disappearance, things were anything but normal. According to Tammy’s mother, she had struggled with depression in the past and there had even been a suicide attempt. Her marriage to her husband, Park Kingery was not in a good place, and they were considering divorce. The strained marriage combined with her depression had even led to extramarital affairs.
Everything came to a head on the morning of September 20, 2014.
