Everyone has one or two dreams, nightmares really, that they can never shake. For some it’s monsters and demons, for others it’s the loss of life or a loved one.
I personally have a reoccurring nightmare that still haunts me on again off again, where I’m back to my college days in the theater program (yes, I was a theater kid, can you imagine that?). In my dream I tell the director of the play I’m in that I will do all my rehearsals and line-learning on my own time. Of course, when the night of the show comes and I miraculously forgot to study a single line and I realize that the whole play will fail because I was unprepared, I’m in a state of terror & shame.
You think that might say something about me? Hint-hint, I have anxiety issues and hate not being prepared for any situation.
