Which means lots of agonizing over what the hell to buy people, resisting the urge to steer into oncoming traffic when Mariah Carrey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” comes on the radio for the 1,007th time in two weeks, and, of course, food. Lots and lots of delicious food. So much food that I won’t even attempt to button the top button on my pants until Groundhog Day. But not all Christmas foods are made equal. Some are actual garbage. Some sort of housing insulation?) that no one has touched when you roll through the buffet line. And even though it looks like it’s been left in the rain and may be a slime-based alien parasite, you still plop a spoonful on the corner of your plate. Because you’d feel bad for whoever brought it if no one even tried the dish. Still, you’ll secretly resent the chef who forced you and your good manners to take up valuable plate real estate on something that tastes like doing taxes feels. Don’t be the person at the potluck everyone secretly resents. Check out this power ranking of Christmas foods for a few pointers. Starting with the worst… Like this post? 4 Liked! 0 Disliked 0
