As noted in this gallery’s title, today, March 7, is a National Holiday you never knew about — National Cereal Day! And though I personally stopped eating the sugary breakfast staple years ago, I still love the food all the same to this day.
A few quick factoids about the morning staple. It was recently estimated that the average American eats approximately 160 bowls of cereal each year. Globally, the breakfast cereal industry is worth roughly $35 billion, but by 2025 it’s expected to be worth more than $54 billion.
In honor of the monumental holiday (that you just learned about right now), we’re doing a very quick, extremely unscientific list of our favorite cereals. But I’ll let you all dish it out in the comments section below as to the list and what you believe needs to be added, omitted from this list –which is in no particular order.
