The International Space Station has its own time zone
While most time zones are made for those on Earth, scientists had to use a special timezone for the International Space Station called Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). UTC is used globally, constantly calibrated using hyper-accurate atomic clocks, and scientists occasionally add leap seconds to make up for the Earth’s rotational irregularities.
