Was doing a rewatch of Home Alone over the weekend and I realized something; Uncle Frank isn’t okay. There was something about him, that just didn’t sit right on this 1000th rewatch, and I started to wonder if there was more to him than we know. I mean, he’s getting a free trip, free pizza and gets to spend Christmas with his family. Why’s he such a dick? Then, I stumbled across this theory.
Frank was a huge asshat because he’s a criminal, and was about to set in motion a huge caper, to ruin his brother. What’s the caper, you ask? The robberies of several homes in the McCallister’s neighbourhood. What if Uncle Frank was the mastermind behind the robbery and attempted manslaughter of Kevin?
