It’s real life.
Robotics has been one of the most innovative inventions of the 21st century but up until this week, you couldn’t buy one and make it do all the boring stuff around the house you hate doing.
But now, NEO—a humanoid robot created by 1X (an AI and robotics company based out of California)— has announced you can finally pre-purchase a do-all-your-chores robot as of 2026.
The NEO bot became available for preorder on October 28 for a cool $20,000 and $499 for the 1X’s subscription model option.
NEO will officially hit the market in early 2026.
