The United States aircraft carrier is 4.5 acres of US territory that can travel all over the world. They may be known for their ability to launch and recover aircraft while at sea, but they are full of so much more below the decks. On this Military Monday, let’s look at what a normal day on an aircraft carrier looks like.
Note: An aircraft carrier never sleeps as it requires 24-hour attention. While Sailors do work all hours, this will focus on a “standard” day shift.
