It’s a bit of Earth history that everyone learns pretty early in life.
It makes sense, too; the most reasonable question to asked when presented with giant, Earth-roaming monsters (AKA dinosaurs) is to ask: “What happened to them?”
A big rock, kid. That’s what.
It’s easy enough to picture a giant asteroid crashing down on Earth and causing a ruckus, but it did a whole lot more than just wipe out the T-Rex and all his little Velociraptor buddies.
