It’s that time of year, Chivers. I sit out on the porch of the Ocean Key resort and reflect on the year that was. For most publishers, it was quite the bloodbath. The social media tsunami swept them all out to sea. Our peers in the space – Break and Cracked gone, not even sure if Funny or Die is posting anymore. For theCHIVE 2018 was one of our best years in recent history, and we owe it all to theCHIVE community.
As always, in early January I’ll post our entire play book for 2019. I’ll lay our plans for opening up theCHIVE HQ like never before, including guided tours from yours truly. I will also reveal plans to visit more cities and states (Ohio, I know), and throw more meetups on a level that rivals the KCCO beer meetups of 2014.
For now, here’s a look back on my favorite things of 2018.
