Patty and I returned to theCHIVE Venice HQ after Seattle Chive Fest to kick off #RAKit week here at theCHIVE. We remembered a time back in the day when we’d leave a lottery ticket on our dinner tabs in addition to the tip. Those $1 scratchers never failed to make our server’s day; the little lottery ticket was more than a dollar, in some strange way it represented just a tiny bit of hope.
So Patty and I ventured out to the Venice Boardwalk to RAK lottery tickets. We also had a special surprise, a brand new iPad Air with us to give to give to some deserving person we met on the boardwalk.
