I grew up in a middle class home in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, the product of supportive parents. I wouldn’t say my father and mother were overly strict, but there were rules. I learned my manners early. Please, thank you, get a job. Oh, and always open car doors for girls. For me, it was nice to have a car at all really.
