In this episode of “10% Happier” I travel to Southington, Connecticut, to visit Chive Charities’ recipient and 5-time cancer survivor, Amanda Garbatini. Most people are born with two tumor suppressor genes, Amanda was born with only one. Her first battle with cancer cost Amanda her left leg. And that’s where the Chive Community arrived to help.
This episode explores how the help of thousands of strangers changes somebody’s life long after the donation has been made. It’s something we’ve never done before and I hope you enjoy it.
