We’d heard about a young girl named Danielle Margerfleisch. She has SCN8A, an extremely rare genetic mutation that causes a breakdown of the nervous system. She is the only person in the state of Georgia with SCN8A. Danielle badly needs a wheelchair-accessible van to get to her doctor appointments.
Zach and I called the Margerfleisch family to let them know Chive Charities has donated a brand new BraunAbility Van to Danielle.
The family has no idea this good news is coming…
