All Navy ships have to pass FSST which stands for Full Ship Shock Trials…BOOM.
The following video includes highlights from the Freedom-class littoral combat ship USS Milwaukee (LCS 5) during Full Ship Shock Trials (FSST) conducted off the coast of Florida. The purpose of FSST is to validate the operational survivability of new construction ships after exposure to underwater shock.
