I was thinking more along the lines of it being scored, like he was drawing with an empty ballpoint pen.

It can't be simply scored, or the edges would have shadows/highlights rather than the flat surfaces. The paper needs to be folded in order to have the entire edge of the object (top part of the stair, or the railing) to have highlighting and the lower part to have shading.

I want to know what kind of paper that is and what he used to manipulate it. This work is highly impressive, especially the ones where he does reflections. Blew my mind right out of my skull, now i’m trying to make bad ass art with the grey matter.

Yeah, uses a blunt but thin edge into paper to make that. Its not folded at all I don't think.
