A little to the right! #34

I have a feeling none of these are OSHA approved. And looks like #7 forgot air holes.

  • csh

It's not dangerous if someone is holding your feet…

  • tommybhoy

#28 Its amazing how shit got done in those days……

    • FullBlownStoned

Exactly what I thought… man the old times were insane.

    • Catence

      They were pretty badass.

    • marshy

What you mean is, it's amazing anything gets done these days. Regulations about everything including regulations about the regulations…..just do the job ffs.

    • ReginaFilange

In some places, it is STILL how it get done

    • FYI

You could actually still find iron workers on steel without being tied off ten years ago. OSHA was largely avoided whenever possible in the trade for decades.

  • xXbeermonkeyXx

all i see are men doing what has to be done, in any way possible. they arent reckless or stupid, they are daredevils, heroes of modern times putting their lives on the line to feed their families. i salute each and everyone of them
    cheers, beers

    • Terry

Maybe number #28 and #25 but the others modern day heros? You have got to be kidding me. They are retarded. And I bet over half of the people pictured int his are seriously injured or dead by now.

    • Brainddd

So to get thsi straight #20 is your modern day hero

    • jstave

      I agree.

  • Benton McGrath

What do all these pictures have in common? 100% Chance of workplace injury

    • sigh

You think it's 100%? Don't go to Vegas, my friend.

  • Anakrusix

What they don't show you is the pictures 5 minutes after. Police are still holding them for evidence.

  • mick

I think 'Like a Boss' pretty much applies to all these pictures .. Some are 'Like a Retarded Boss' though

  • BigDingo

#25 and #28 are reminders of the incredible balls it took to build the iconic metropolitan skylines of so many cities.

    • Marie

Actually, #25 is a very famous picture of the construction of the Empire State Building called "Icarus". Certainly hope his fate was better than the "real" Icarus

  • ilovelemonsquares

#25 #28 not a single fuck was given that day. and that other day.

  • turbosmurf

some of them are pretty ingenious.

  • Cavall

All of you. Please. Please. PLEASE.

Stop doing what you are doing.

  • davey

    get'er done!

  • R.C.

There is no cure for stupid..

    • Now What?

      Sure there is… DEATH!

  • MarQ

having worked in the construction field for a long time i can honestly say that often times you can't worry about safety if something has to get done. deadlines and customers don't care if you don't have a ladder that reaches, just about results. there are a bunch of ridiculous things here but a lot that I've either seen or done myself.

    • Ebiggz

Same here man. Doing electric for 6 years I have done a lot of this shit and some.

    • Todds

Im the safety guy you hate. But then again I knew things had to get done and timeliens met. But sometimes you guys a retarded on a jobsite. Liek really retarded and if you do something like shown above or clsoe to it. I have no problem sending you home and off the job permently. Atleast you then you get to see your kids again instead of falling off a building to meet a timeline. Thats the way I look at it.

    • Nephilim

Been a commercial/industrial wireman for many years and don't do any of that stupid crap. If a customer doesn't give a shit about my safety then I absolutely, positively don't give a flying fuck about their deadline. Either of you fellas seen a worker get maimed for life on a job? Unfortunately I have. A delivery truck snagged a lady iron workers tag line and ripped her off an overhead power/water truss. She got broken in almost every way possible and will probably never work in the trades again. Either of you fellas seen a worker get killed on a job? Unfortunately I have. A roofer fell through a skylight on the roof of a grocery store. He was airlifted out but didn't make it. Shit like that tends to make a person reevaluate things.

  • Joben

#36 at least id the ceiling collapses his hair will remain in tact ha ha

    • Catch

He had his hardhat on, I see no problem.

      • Turduckenn

  • @CerealFede

    #36 easy mon no problem

  • Ebiggz

When i was an electrician I couldn't tell you how many time i encountered shit like this. I myself would do dumb shit like this. Very and it made the day more interesting.

  • misschris

#36 – that should do it

  • Sick

If picture #31 is not shopped, the guy holding the ladder is my hero
