    • ^you there^

Shut your dirty pirate hooker mouth.

  • etcrr

Wow only 29.5 mil huh? That's pocket change compared to the 89 million last week for the boat, I'd rather have this property.

    • Country Fan

agreed! 🙂 whos with me and come help put a down on the property?

    • BSS

#3 Does it come with the creepy doll that wanders in the middle of the night hacking everyone with a butcher's knife?

    • Bill57

i bet we could park your trailer there

    • naa

no way i'd way rather take the boat… or the island that was for sale that would top my list.

  • Niitsitapi13

I'll take the land. You can have the house.

    • Jester

True Story. You think they could have used a little color in some of those bedrooms or something

    • http://4chan.org/b gnocco

Truth, its all bleak and drab… Makes me want to write a book, "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy…"

      • https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=900785222 Frédéric Purenne

Weird, the colors is what was the most interesting for me. It is very classy without being bleak… Except #3

        • Ptesla

You know that Doll on the Sofa will kill you right?

    • that guy

i dont know loyd, the french are assholes.

  • Boobies

The view itself is worth the 29.5 million. I personally would like something a bit more modern, and at least a bit closer to civilization, but definitely a great house with a great view.

    • https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1073490099 Taylor Scott Mills

that location is only 20 minutes from down-town aspen, so pretty close to civilization, and about 10 minutes from snowmass mountain (the slopes you see in the background)

    • http://www.cupcakesbymartha.com MarthaJeane

I think the house itself is pretty modern, the decorator just did a terrible job. It looks very much like an old person's house.

      • MylesofStyles

I consider myself resourceful, so I'm sure I'd find some way to make living there bearable.

  • rc3

spent all my money this damn house… can't even afford a British butler

    • MattKL

Never mind a cave beneath the mansion from which to conduct your fight against crime.

  • What

Nooo way, do you see the creepy doll they left behind in picture 3. Something is up with it, and no one will every hear you scream. . .

    • What

      even*

    • I'm back ...

#3 … an update to The Shining ?

      • KenT

Gotta wonder what she did with her equally creepy twin.

    • Red

      I'd hit it (the doll).

  • Professor America

I've been to Aspen several times. Men outnumber women 4 to 1, and everything is overpriced. Last time I was in Big Bear however, there were girls snowboarding in bikinis and free beer. I'll take Cali any day.

    • JJ Berra

Yeah, big bear 8,500 ft and icy snow. Compared to 12,000 feet with powder in aspen.

      • shofmon88

        It's all about priorities…

    • XOXO

Hmm 4 to 1 you say?

  • PJee

#14 water looks frozen, very cosy

  • MattKL

#13 Way pricey, but man that view…

    • Drew

I may not have that awesome view, 7 bedrooms, 10 baths, and a helicopter, but I do have the Zermatt poster in #6. Counts for something, right?

  • ...

Why does every rich person seem to have the worst fucking taste ever?

    • Soviet Plague

…bec most of them are middle class people who have recently come into money. More money does not mean more class (i.e. actors/actresses, professional athletes etc).

    • Poorboy

I disagree – I think a lot of them are old people with old people taste – pastels, ugly furniture, no sex swings, etc.

    • LucretiusCarus

The interior is super dated and not too attractive. But to each their own.

      • Brutal Deluxe

Looks like it was done in the style of every expensive hotel ever

    • wtf

it is because they hire interior decorators who have to leave their mark and justify the money they charge …

    • Static

YEA, NO KIDDING! if you are rich enough to own this house.. hire a REAL interior designer to decorate for you….

#14 and wtf is that? a bathtub!?? pool should be 4x that size in a house that large.

      • U dip

that appears to be the hot tub- see the bench going all the way around the inside of it?

    • JarikCBol

I know, i died a little inside when I saw the 'off pink' theme for the interior.

  • Huff and Dobak

    #2
I'll buy it if they throw in a private lift/zipline from the backyard to the resort in the background

    • Intellect1618

No zipline please. I saw South Park.

  • Biddy

Those that built that house and filled it seem to have lots of cash but no taste.

  • RandomTask09

#1: $30 million but still you can see the garage when approaching the front entrance. All that money, yet the mentality of the lower/middle class.

    • Simmington-Smith.

Upper class doesn't exist in America – just middle class with more money.

    • wyochiver

I'm guessing this was part of the design so they could show off their Lamborgs and Farraris more readily.

  • Simmington-Smith.

Typical American new money trying to look like English old money. Just buy a 500 year old house in England and have a real dip in the flags where people have walked for centuries!

    • bigbootybitches

      so what troll?

      • Simmington-Smith.

200 acres of land you can't farm. Plenty of land to hide your class anxieties though!

    • the_mike

You do realize there were people here before Columbus "discovered" this continent over 500 years ago, right?

      • nitrox

        Living like caveman ?
        ok

      • Simmington-Smith.

Yes, Indians! But the Irish immigrants forced them off their land!

    • sjd

If we wanted to stay in England we wouldn't have left

      • Simmington-Smith.

        You're confusing "English" with "Irish".

        • Brutal Deluxe

You're confusing your comments with shit we want to read.

          • Simmington-Smith.

You like to read shit? Read your dissertation! Second thoughts, I doubt you got far in education.

    • ImpressMe

Sshhhhhh……stop feeding the troll….. who likely lives in his mommies basement…and couldn't locate England on a map.

  • RealZoo

#11 Why didn't the listing mention the helicopter? Throw it in and I'll take it!!!

  • serge

    Horrible furnishings.

  • South of the south

I thought of The Shining as soon as I saw it. It's kind of creepy.

  • sploodge

#3 i couldn't live there after seeing that freakin doll in 3. It's just staring at us

    • whosyopapi

that thing is scary as shit

    • MacNCheesePro

They should've put it in every pic. In the bottom of the pool, waiting to drown you. In the bed, watching you sleep. Right in your face in the last pic, lol!

  • BroTone

I don't Lloyd, the French are assholes.

  • Andyyyyyyyyyyy

I wouldn't pay that amount of money for what looks like a much bigger version of my grans house.

  • Maxx

What a lack of taste 😦

  • NostalgicNed

Does this remind anyone else of The Shining?

  • NostalgicNed

Missed the previous comment, apologies for a repeat of ideas.

  • tim

  • AJG

Its probably the awesome bunker that costs so much money
