    sorry everyone—these are all fake photos. look at the surrounding items in the photos–there's no way these snowflakes can be this big. notice how most of the snowflakes are identical?! Come on Chive!

    i am impressed that he was able to catch the DOF so well. I have seen similar stuff only with a canon mp-e65. Not an easy capture for even the most practiced of hands. Hats off to the artist! to those doubters above…. i am sorry but you don;'t know what you are talking about.

    Great photos. I think you need a bit of a photography background and understanding of a camera lenses capability to 'get' how pictures like these can be captured.
