It’s always amazing to see great sportsmanship, especially when every nation has come together to compete.
In the finals of the men’s cross country skiing sprint, Russia’s Anton Gafarov crashed but still managed to finish the race with help from an opposing coach. Canadian cross country skiing coach Justin Wadsworth (who is from California) ran onto to course to help Gafarov.
Garafov finished nearly three minutes behind the leaders, but the Russian crowd gave him a standing ovation as he crossed the finish line.
