Over 750 shelters were tagged to date and the number keeps on going up. At the moment, they only have the 4,000 balls, which works out that 200 shelters can get 200 balls. But if more people could donate, then they’d be happy to send more balls to the additional shelters. The plan is to keep on collecting tennis balls and sending them to shelters, then they’d make another video about showcasing where the balls were sent and how the doggos enjoyed them. The hope is that this will help get more support for local shelters and adoption programs.
What started as a kind gesture from a man who missed his best friend, is now a huge movement that’s trying to raise awareness for all the furry little puppers who need a happily ever after and to remind people to be mindful about living every day and valuing the presence of your doggo.
