We sit on a tiny planet that floats in a seemingly endless cosmic universe, most of which is still unknown. To me, the idea that we are the only intelligent species that exists seems impossible, especially when you consider that there are at least 200 billion galaxies (maybe more) in space.
For decades, questions about alien existence and mysterious flying objects have been asked. There are endless conspiracy theories surrounding strange events and government cover-ups, and a vast number of these incidents remain unsolved, or unanswered.
Well… we finally got some answers; you just might not want to hear them.
The Pentagon, for the first time, recently confirmed in an article written by The New York Times the existence of a secret UFO program, the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, and the possibility of alien life. From 2007 until 2012 when it was officially shut down, the program received $22 million in government funding in order to research and assess UFO evidence. Only now, their findings have come to light.
A video released by the Department of Defense that was investigated during this program shows an encounter between an unknown object and a pair of Navy F/A-18F fighter jets recorded near San Diego in 2004. In it, the pill-shaped object appears to make sudden, unexplainable movements and doesn’t display any sort of obvious propulsion system. The pilots, who can be heard saying, “There’s a whole fleet of them” and “Look at that thing!” tracked the object for a few minutes before it accelerated at an unprecedented velocity and disappeared.
Here’s the unaltered footage.
The video was not the only evidence found during the program either. Ralph Blumenthal, one of the writers of the article, also revealed that an unknown piece of material, some sort of metal alloy, had been recovered from a UFO as well. You can watch his interview here.
Luis Elizondo, a former military intelligence officer who recently resigned due to excessive secrecy and internal opposition, ran the program from the fifth floor of the Pentagon’s C Ring. He is now speaking out about the program and it’s findings and is quoted as saying, “My personal belief is that there is very compelling evidence that we may not be alone.”
Elizondo claims that only funding stopped in 2012 and that officials in the program were still investigating strange occurrences while also carrying out their other Defense Department duties. Even after he resigned in October, he had a successor he declined to name who continues the effort to discover the truth.
Check out Luis Elizondo’s interview, it’s pretty mind-blowing stuff.
So… are we alone?
