What can I say about Prince that hasn’t already been said? But with the Super Bowl less than 2 weeks away, I’d be remiss if I didn’t highlight the greatest halftime show of all time. On the surface, his SBXLI performance was Prince sharing his gift with the world. What transpired was something so much bigger.
February 4th, 2007 was a big day for Peyton Manning and the Colts as they secured a Super Bowl victory over the Chicago Bears. Even as a football fan, that’s not where my mind goes when I think of SBXLI.
Florida played host to the big game at Dolphin Stadium in Miami Gardens. And although heavy rain was predicted in the forecast that night, there had been 40 years worth of Super Bowls without precipitation.
