This past weekend the cast of Dazed and Confused came home to Austin, TX. The iconic Richard Linklater flick follows a group of high schoolers in 1976, and their kick-off to an epic summer.
The film – which displays a perfect snapshot of small town ’70s adolescence – was shot on a budget of $6.9 million. It didn’t necessarily flop at the box office, but the movie only found its cult following and success after its home video release.
With filming locations all across the city of Austin, it was the perfect homecoming. 31 years later, Richard Linklater and the Dazed and Confused cast reunited, and we were right there to document the occasion.
