Seattle Kraken Organist Has Us in Our Pop/Punk Feels

With everything in the world seemingly moving towards AI, it’s beyond refreshing to see talented artists not only staying employed – but also thriving. Yikes, that’s a scary sentence.
However, the Seattle Kraken of the NHL have found a real one with their in-game organist, Ben Wooley AKA BennyDrawbars.
Benny has taken the internet by storm keeping with times, and showing off his brilliant iterations of pop/punk hits. I don’t need to explain to hockey fans the tremendous sense of nostalgia that a live organ brings to a packed arena. Just think back to the hours upon hours spent playing NHL ’94 on SEGA.
Live music isn’t an aspect of the game that we necessarily consciously think about, but boy is it an important one. Kudos to Benny and the Kraken for keeping this time-honored tradition alive in Seattle!
