Madison Mallards baseball to honor Chris Farley with ‘Motivational Speakers’ uniforms

As most Minor League Baseball teams are wont to do, the Madison Mallards of the Northwoods League are switching up their identity for a game. The Mallards announced this morning that they will play as the Motivational Speakers on July 6th, complete with a full set of rebranded uniforms.
It’s not only something that fans will enjoy, but it’s a great way to honor the late Chris Farley who grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and even played football in high school. If you live under a rock, here’s the iconic SNL sketch that the team is referencing.
