Never heard of Fat Bear Week? It’s ok, prior to writing this post, I hadn’t either… But I really, really, REALLY wish I did!
Each fall, Alaska’s Katmai National Park & Preserve holds a competition to find the brown bear who has packed on the most weight before their long winter hibernation. And after six days of salmon-munching action, the finals, delightfully known as Fat Bear Tuesday, is here.
