Zach: Thank you so much, Katie for being here.
Katie: Of course!
Zach: Just a quick note; remember to back up all of your files. This is technically part two of this interview. And we’ll leave it at that. So Katie, what was the first thing that brought you over to theCHIVE specifically posting as a Chivette?
Katie: I kind of liked how everybody was in the comments. I thought it was funny. I thought everybody was lighthearted and I was like, “Oh, this is cool. I wanna be a Chivette now.” At first I was like, “Are you guys gonna make fun of me?” I didn’t know what it was about. So I’m glad it wasn’t that.
Zach: I’m glad you brought that up though. What has your experience been like interacting with theCHIVE community?
Katie: Oh, it’s been positive. Like everybody on there is really encouraging and really sweet. The other Chivettes root for each other, and everyone that posts on there is just really pleasant. I like how sometimes people will talk about something that they’re going through, or something that happened that day that they might not be able to express to anybody else. And everybody in the comments is just so sweet and encouraging to make them feel better.
Zach: That’s so awesome too, because you don’t see that other places on the internet, you know?
Katie: No, not at all.
