Desiree Palmen is a Dutch contemporary artist who loves to hide in plain sight. Seriously. Her art is a type of painting/performance hybrid that uses mimicry of her settings to blend in and “dissolve or disappear” into the background. Her work has appeared in numerous countries across the world and serves to make the viewer question their own surroundings.
