It’s been quite a while since we gave an iChive update, so we figured it was high time to share some news and a few refreshers for our own platform. For those of you not keenly aware of just what iChive is, think of it as the Chivers’ personal sandbox. Every image that exists on the homepage and on the Featured page is uploaded directly by users like yourself. And so in essence, the look and feel of iChive is directly dictated by you. Before sharing some great news, a little history lesson first. For years editors were able to sift through a large submission box of Chivers’ original content, however only the editors were able to view this content. Chive Nation was in the blind, and so finally we created a way for the community to be active participants in the process. Those with iChive accounts can now share content that makes the homepage, and the community can vote and comment on their favorite content.
