Nerf Wars and charity is a winning combination

Last year around this time, a group of Chivers emailed in. “We have an idea and it involves nerf guns, charity and road trips.”

The Chiverhood chapter got together and wanted to put together a fun summer activity. With so many Chivers on vacation, they thought it would be the perfect way to add some flare to their trips. Put a bounty on their friends and promise donations to be made to kids in need, mainly in medical bills, and watch the fireworks fly. It was a weird idea, everyone thought they had their last nerf gun standoff when they were kids. But something even weirder happened: it worked.
