First off, Happy Easter Weekend, all!! I hope you guys all get a moment with family and friends to reflect on all the great things you have in your world. Often times in life we get caught up in the hustle and bustle and are bogged down by the relentless grind that reality can throw at us. Our jobs, our bills, our health, our floundering relationships — all of it. Nobody is more guilty of this mental fatigue than myself. But seriously, slow it down for a moment, actually force yourself to think of what you do have for a second, even if it takes you a moment.
I promise, in short order you’ll begin to appreciate all the blessings you do have all around you. And I swear even the difficult stuff that seems burdensome can actually be some of the best things you have going for you. It’s all a matter of perception, and how you choose to acknowledge your own reality. So choose to be happy, embrace the highs and lows, and let all the other chips fall where they may.
I’ll raise a glass to all of you (AND J.C.) this weekend.
