30 minutes before we were set to interview actor/comedian, Rob Corddry, John & I got word from his publicist that he had chosen to end his hit Adult Swim show, “Children’s Hospital,” after the 7th season wrapped! NOOOOOOOO! For a show that I’ve been watching and laughing at since before I ever posted a single gallery on theCHIVE, the news hit hard. But in a manner only Rob could pull off, he explained his reasons for ending it and proceeded to make us double over with laughter for the next hour plus.
Rob regaled amusing stories about working on set with one of the funniest casts ever assembled. Additionally, he talked candidly about his time as a correspondent for The Daily Show, from what Jon Stewart is like when the camera stops rolling, to the one thing he hated doing more than anything every week on the show. From his wild college days, to his training in the Upright Citizens Brigade with the likes of Amy Poehler, to evolving into a “responsible” father of two girls, Rob delighted with anecdotes that will make you smile.
