One thing you should know about me is that the extent of my culinary expertise ends with Kraft Mac & Cheese — hand to God. So when we had the chance to sit and talk with culinary whiz, and Season 9 winner of ‘Top Chef’, Paul Qui, we had a ton of ground to cover.
He dished about his early days as a drug dealer and how he was able to grind his way out of that life and transform into one of the planet’s premier chefs. Our talks took us from the current competitive climate of cooking in this recipe-sharing internet age, to the trap of eating out at buffets, to what guilty pleasures & processed foods he still indulges on to this day.
