What's wrong with "noob" as the opposite of pro? Teacher's not up on today's slang …
hate to be that guy, but the teacher seems to be a noob with regards to the language he is supposed to teach anyways. live is not the opposite of death. either it's to live then the opposite would be to die or it's life and death.
