Remember Disaster Girl? She grew up (14 Photos)

Here at the Chive, we have a lot of respect for the meme. One of the very first memes was created by photographer Dave Roth in 2008 when he photoshopped a picture of his daughter, Zoe, into a photo of a burning house. Since then many incarnations of the firestarter have scorched the net. Zoe has grown up a bit (pics below) and today we tip our hats to one of the founding fathers daughters of the meme. Here's to you Zoe!

Now the pics themselves…she’s cuter than a bug’s ear and I’m glad folks had fun with the photoshopping. Miss…if your parents read some of these comments to you…I bet you have a great imagination. Keep having fun. ;)

“She still scares the shit out of me. I know, deep down, she is capable of immeasureable evil.”

      Of course. She’s a female.

When I saw “she grew up” I thought she’d be all nubile college chick with hard nips. You just ripped me off, I want that 45 seconds back and a bandaid for my finger that got blistered frantically scrolling down looking for the nubile……….nevermind but you get what I’m saying right?

  7. use sucks says:

those were shit the only one that was good was the house burning one.

  8. ydw505 says:

  9. Anonymous says:

  10. Dr. Dr. says:

  11. Gordon of Hesselink says:

  12. poison says:

  13. DanbyRaider says:

#12 is not funny. I don’t think that situation will ever be something you can joke about.

  14. getYourFactsSraight says:

the original picture is not photoshopped, he simply took the picture of a house fire with his daughter in the foreground.

  15. HellHathNoFirestarter says:

    You’re the firestarter, twisted firestarter…

  16. Robert says:

Most are pretty funny, except for #12. That’s not something to joke about at all. I don’t see why it was even posted :/

  17. MichaelGS says:

Before seeing the date of the original, did anyone else expect “Disaster Girl” grown up to be our very own HHNF? shes crazy enough ;)

  18. I agree with several above about #12. That may be enough to have me stop coming to this site..actually, i believe it is.

  19. A. Dominick says:

The first photo itself is real, not photo shopped. Dave Roth took it when firemen were burning a house on their block for a demonstration. There are other photos to back it up, and he has a blog documenting it.

  20. Trololololo says:

As others have said, the first picture is real. Roth didnae no photoshop, ye get me? Yeah. Well.

Probably time for an article edit.

  21. number 12 is my favorite :)

  22. I have to wonder about the wisdom of any father posting photos of his pre-pubescent daughter on the internet – especially on a site like this. Some of the comments already posted are my evidence, if you needed more than just common sense. She is a very pretty little girl, and therefore she should be hidden from society at large as thoroughly as possible.
