The Portabello Estate: I’m not jealous, I swear (26 HQ Photos)

Located in Corona Del Mar in Orange County, California the Portabello Estate was originally listed at a cool $76 million in 2006. However, the fantastical Estate was eventually sold in 2010 for $34.1 million (recession is a bitch).

The estate has over 22,000 square feet of oceanfront splendor and features eight bedrooms, ten bathrooms (and 5 half baths) and two saltwater pools surrounded by 3-storey high grotto cliffs. Of course there’s your standard 10-pin bowling lanes, 16-car garage, state-of-the-art movie theatre and automotive museum.

Life doesn’t suck.

I could use some help, send your $!

  • MikeofLA

If I had $35 mil, I wouldn't spend it on this horrible mess. I mean, the pools and back yard are nice, but the entire interior is just either bland or over the top.

Sure I'd like to have a pad like that.
I just don't want to become one of the pompous, pole up the ass snobs that usually dwells in there.

    • Dirty Dingus

Not to mention that all the neighbors (who live very close) are also that type of pole-up-the-ass snobs.

  • Phlerm

So many pictures and I still have no idea what it looks like. What's #10?

    • equalizermax

It's a portal, that's how rich people travel from different dimension.

#3 – Thank Jeebus, there's a Kay's Jeweler in there………no fucking way I'm going to the mall with the rest of you schlubs!!! hahaha!!

  • VampJenn

The owners are actually incredibly generous and wonderful people. they give to charity all the time and are so wonderful. don't judge people before you know them!

    • Bingo!

I don't need to justify my comment seeing as you're a vampire. All you do is suck blood and stay inside all day.

I also know the owners quite well and they agree with me. We are going to use their bowling alley next week for a charity event – but as it's during the day I assume you will be unable to attend?

      • Phil

        Bingo
I am sure you dont know the "owners". Mostly for the fact that it is a single person and he is not married. Also, he gives massive amounts to charities through his foundation and he gives large amounts to various schools, including 24 million to a single school. Im sure you can google some of this information and possibly find out his name. But nice try to seem important. =) smiles

        • Bingo!

Phil I DO SO know them! Next week when I get my chivette of the month gallery I will have John and Leo (also close friends) have the photo shoot at the Portobello estate. It will be CHIVETASTIC! And I knew the guy was single, I was just playing with your heart.

      • Ty-Ty

lmao, bingo your such a fag ❤

    • Spivias

rich people donating money = avoiding expensive tax
theres a reason why people spent they life making money and just dump them away to charity

  • Biz02

I think I can hear my townhouse crying from here….

  • mojo2975

I assume this is the new Chive Corporate headquarters.

  • VampJenn

#20 is a Nautilus Shell designed stair case. the whole house is designed off of the spiral of a nautilus shell.

  • cwk

Their neighbors are right next to them. If I had that kind of money, I'd find a place with no neighbors in sight. Location, location, location.

    • TitoRigatoni

This place is big enough that it doesn't matter – if you're in the center section of the house, the neighbors are pretty far away 🙂
