    • RJJA

without a doubt!!! classy, rare and beautiful!

  • Retired Navy

Good to see American muscle cars!

    • Chim Richels

Yeah, very unique. You can go to any lame suburban cruise night and see 8 bajillion of them. Boring.

Seeing a Koeniggsegg or Veyron would be good. Seeing boring American muscle cars that handle like bread vans? Yawn.

      • truth

Critiques American Muscle cars as being 'bread vans'……drives a Toyota Yaris.

        • Chim Richels

No, I drive carsr that can go around a corner without feeling like it's flipping over, including arguably one of the greatest handling sports cars ever made.

American Muscle Cars – the most overrated cars in motoring history.

      • Caleb

Veyrons a Koeniggsegg's, go to Cars and Coffee events. If your area doesn't have them.. Then to bad.

        • Chim Richels

I've never seen a Koeniggsegg at a C&C event, although there has been a McL F1 at the Chicago event, a Pagani Zonda R (trailered in) in Irvine and Jim Glickenhaus' one of P4/P5 at Greenwich

  • Tim

#16 Even though the BMW has a face only a another could love, the engine is superb.

  • http://www.facebook.com/jurjen.oud Jurjen Oud

#25 without a doubt. Love the sound, the exclusivity. Simply a fantastic car. Too bad it's so expensive…

    • Chim Richels

I've yet to see one live, but the reviews I've seen have said that it's a bit of a disappointment.

There was a Zagato bodied 8C at Pebble Beach last year and it was sick!!

      • fed

being made only 300 of them, i can assure you they are pretty rare. Luckily, since i'm in italy, i've seen 3 of them.
trust me when i say, it has simple lines, but overall it is a gorgeous piece of machinery.

        • Kristen

          Italy sucks.

        • Chim Richels

Of course, but most of the motoring journalists who have been able to spend time with the 8C have said it's a bit of a disappointment. I know Top Gear didn't dig it.

I do however hope the 4C makes it's way to the US – by all accounts, looks to be a fantastic car.

You cannot beat classic muscle cars.

    • Chim Richels

Yes, you can. You can beat them all day long. Especially if the event doesn't involved driving in a straight line for 12 seconds.

      • stufff

Why thumbs him down? Because he's right? They still look boss

        • Chim Richels

Agreeance. I could understand if people say 'I really enjoy classic muscle cars', but to say 'cannot beat them' is just silly. Muscle cars are dogs on proper road courses.

Miatas, yes Miatas, with a good driver will be a muscle car on a tight road course all day long.

          • sil

muscle cars can be tunned to drift and turn as well, its just harder to do it but if u manage to just imagine all that horsepower, all that muscle poping up after a tight corner, on the outside and exit of the curves they are the masters, not the miatas or whatever.

            • Kristen

You sound a lot like that retarded butt-fucker etcrr. (No offense to retarded butt-fuckers).

              • wdh

Kristen.. I feel bad for your dildos.. they have to go into that wretched thing.. ughhh

            • Chim Richels

And they will still be destroyed on tracks by proper cars – RWD, light weight, etc.

There's are reason you see Miatas, 914s and Elises at HPDE events and not '69 Camaros.

They have their place but to say 'you cannot beat them' is just silly. The majority of foreign/exotics on this very thread will 'beat them' all day long.

          • Ethix_

I'm pretty sure the original poster is very aware that the McLaren F1 or any supercar could very easily beat any muscle car in a race. It's just a filler phrase conveying respect for the cars.

            • Frosterson

              Yes. This.
I guess saying "You cannot beat classic cars" was a poor phrase to use.

              • Buford_Justice

just classic internet nerds taking everything word literally.

            • Chim Richels

It's not just a 'race'. On a tight road course (Blackhawk, Autobahn, Grattan) any of the cars outlined in the post above would lose to a good driver in a spec Miata.

Straight line driving is the most overrated thing in the world.

              • Hunter

                You're a fucking idiot!

      • wdh

i would not drive any of these classics. These are garage queens.

      • wdh

        why'd you sell it?

    • wdh

how can they put an evo and not an sti.. =[

      • sfb101

        Agree!

    • Buford_Justice

All these amazing cars and you choose an economy car? and I understand its no longer an economy car but it comes with the body of one

      • wdh

because cost of ownership for these supercars are no joke. If i was offered one of these i'd take the bugatti and sell it, buy another sti and drive the piss out of it. Then put the rest of the money in a bank.

  • Brian

you could have stopped at 'Don't have a clue'

    • Bill57

I think it is a chevy mustang but in name only cause of the race car parts. if it had a race car engine than it wouldnt be a regular car it would be a race car with race car parts that looks like the chevy mustang jaguar.

  • THOR

RICK!! would it kill ya to put a nascar pic on these posts once in a while

    • Chim Richels

Yes, it would. Most of these pictures are of cars that can turn right.

#7 Crime against humanity. You do not put a fin on a Cad.

    • https://www.facebook.com/jeffmondelblatt Jeff Mondelblatt

Unless you're on a racetrack going for speed and don't want to crash.

    • Chim Richels

Ummm, you do see that it is …..ON A TRACK…. don't you?

It's clearly a highly modified race spec CTS-V. Large wings, while looking silly, absolutely serve an important function – downforce and keeping the car planted. It's the same reason that track based cars have front splitters.

    • C'mon man

      Douche

      • Matty

The Cadis are actually quite competitive in touring car racing. I'd like to see competitive turn into dominate someday.

  • Bango
