Super Bowl Squares
A gameday classic where there’s absolutely no skill involved, just pure chance – this makes it a fun, even playing field for everyone, even the folks who know nothing about football… Make a 10×10 grid, and fill it out with your friends with one name per square. Designate a price for each square. Once the board is filled, decide which team will be on the X-axis and which will be on the Y-axis. Then select numbers 0-9 at random from a hat, and label each column. Once each column has a number, repeat for each row on the other axis… At the end of each quarter, you take the last digit from each teams score and see which square correlates. Whoever’s name is in that square wins the pot for that quarter.
Note: There are a bunch of different ways to play, but this is how we’re doing it in the office this year.
